In this weeks episode, I attempt to pay tribute to a friend, Elliott Ashton, who sadly passed away in September of 2018. Elliott was a multi talented creative. A visual artist, VFX artist, writer, director and producer. I chat with actor and friend of Elliotts, Ben Macleod. Ben talks of his time working on Elliotts wonderful animated short film, Attack of the Aliens which you can watch for free here:
I want to thank Ben for taking the time to talk to me to celebrate Elliott and his work. Elliott was an incredible artist and filmmaker and we will all miss him dearly.

To kick off our second series, I took my brother, Chirag Vaid to a special screening of The Room at the Prince Charles Cinema in London's Leicester Square. In this special Valentines episode, we recorded live at the event (so please excuse the noise), sharing our expectations before hand, and our thoughts after the screening. In this, the Season Finale of The Screening Room, host Rutvig Vaid goes through his top 5 films of 2018, based on his extremely limited viewing experience this year.
The Screening Room will return in February of 2019 with Season 2, which will include interviews with British comics writer and artist, John Higgins (The Killing Joke, Watchmen, 2000AD), Hollywood graphic designer Jenn Moye (The Walking Dead, Fast & Furious 5, Spider-man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War) and commentary tracks on Robocop 2, Attack the Block and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, to name but a few.

This week, we hear from numerous guests that attended MCM ComicCon at the London Excel Centre on 26th October. Ziki Nelson and his colleague Hamed talk about their indie comic, Kugali Anthology while host Rutvig Vaid notes Ziki's striking resemblance to Donald Glover. This is followed by a conversation about Star Wars with Bostonian, Frank D. Rich of Star Wars Autograph News, where Rutvig and Frank share their thoughts on The Last Jedi and remember their personal experiences with the late Carrie Fisher. And rounding up the episode are a series of Star Wars interviews, with guests signers Angus MacInnes (Gold Leader in A New Hope and Rogue One), Attila Vajda (Sagwa in Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Ross Sambridge (Kessel Wookie slave in Solo and one of the Snoke body doubles in The Last Jedi).
